What is Epididymitis
Information on Epididymitis Infection
There seems to be well over 200,000 cases per year in the United States alone.
It can spread through sexual contact, but this may not be the only reason. Perhaps the genital area is not sanitary for long periods of time and bacteria or fungus backtrack down the urethra making it's way down to the testes and causing issues.
Looking online you will notice that this condition is treatable by doctors, it is very true, however this particular condition has left many people helpless and hopeless after several rounds of antibotics including my self, this is why I have felt inclined to start a blog about this very issue, and recommend things I have done to eradicate it my self, two times. I had the condition in 2014, and in 2017 it came back, the first time I got rid of it, and it looks like its working again the second time.
As with any other medical condition, it is strongly recommended to requires a medical diagnosis by a professional MD. It's not always as easy as it seems to self diagnose, so please have a doctor inspect you.
What is the function of the epididymis?
The epididymis is a fairly long, tight tube that is located above and behind each teste. It stores maturing sperm produced by the testicles just before ejaculation. The inflammation and/or acute or chronic infection of the epididymis is called epididymitis.
How is epididymitis diagnosed?
Epididymitis can be diagnosed by a physician by applying an exam and reviewing your medical history. A culture of potential discharge is examined from the penis to ensure there isn't a bacterial infection. Also a urinalysis and urine culture may be done by your physician to check for a urinary tract infection.
How is it treated
I've used 3 rounds of antibotics my first rodeo, and it helped for a few days and the pain returned. I then looked towards alternative ways to help and aide my issue, you can read about the supplements I took here on how to cure epididymitis
Try my method above if Antibiotics are not working for you. Also, please use them together with antibiotics.
I recommend telling your doctor for injection of antibiotics instead of orally, It will enter the blood stream more efficiently since it is a direct insert, and will be more able to enter the hard to reach region of the epididymis. Also, if your doctor automatically prescribes you CIPRO, please ask for another antibiotic or doctor, this antibiotic has strong side effects.
